Found a back seat in Indiana
Back from the Indiana with my seat in place!
The trip was a breeze in my HHR. I cant remember a more pleasant drive in a car. The HHR just hummed along the whole way. Never a hiccup. I got to Indiana Saturday at a little after noon. I met Mike (who turned out to be "Petrolmike" on HHR.net) & he was a great help. Help? He pretty much did the complete install for me. I maybe loosened two bolts. The rear seat was installed by 12:45! Mike had installed a set in his Panel so he knew the routine well. Honestly, the procedure was pretty simple. The HHR design is solid. Removing a few bolts are all that's necessary. After the install, we spent the next hour or so talking & looking at some of his old stuff. Mike has this great little workshop/man-cave/gas station set up in the back of his property. Complete with all manner of special tools that the serious gear head cannot do without. Awesome memorabilia surrounded us. When we were through we parked the two Panels together & snapped a few pics.

I am putting the rear seat install thread together now & will post it up later.
This was a great trip. I never would've done it had I not owned an HHR. I got my rear seats & made a good friend. Thank you again Mike!
