Found a rear window deleted 08

Stopped by the local dealer today and found this 08 with the rear window delete option. Too bad it doesn't have running boards on it.

How commonly do dealers order their stock with the boards already installed? Not once have I seen an HHR on a dealer lot with them on there already in my area. I had to order mine after the fact, get them painted, installed, etc. Do dealers generally get them with or without boards?

Cool, haven't seen one in the Hillsdale area yet. Side note: went to a Komets Hockey game on Sunday and they kicked the pants off your IceHawks!!!

Would look real nice on a SS, (if available) kinda rounds out the rump so to speak. Oh what to do? (I’m a SS wantabe) . My nice quaint and charming town still has angle parking that means backing out into traffic, I noticed that I do use the rear side window for that. Maybe park and walk, what a strange concept! Decisions, decisions?

I'm considering ordering a new one with the rear window delete option. Sit in your car and see if you can view anything out of those windows. I can't mainly because the frame is so deep and the window so small. They really don't serve much of a purpose.

I know the local paint shop would have a field day putting pinstriping and scrolling on that rear panel.

The rear window delete is called the "panel wagon" option, and has now become available in 08. Best part- rear seats.
