front bowtie size

i have the other side (not shown) pressed up against the grille like it should sit, but the other side sticks out. If I put enough pressure on the bowtie I can get both sides to stay flush, but Im not sure if the double sided tape will hold it down like that

Hey Skyline26!

I had the front bowtie replaced under warranty on my 2010 HHR SS back in May 2013. The part number on the invoice is 20836156. This agrees with the part number given in post #2 by 843de.

This probably doesn't help you much but at least it's a confirmation of the part number.

FWIW: Since the pins did not line up and the curve is wrong I would guess he has the wrong part.
That's one of the questions I asked earlier. Did it come in an unopened GM parts bag and if so what was the part number on the bag??

i got it from an HHR owner.
I grinded the back side down a bit and now it fits perfectly. The "point" that the middle comes to wasnt concaved on the rear side enough so grinded it down and now its ok.
