I want to replace the splash guards on the front passenger side but having hard time , also does the big one go on first ? Thank you

 

Are you referring to the Factory style GM splash guards ?

Mine were very simple to install.

 

Yes the big one doesn’t want to go back in .

 

I think he is refering to the inner fender wells. I would like to know also as I am going to remove mine soon to do the chain swap.

 

The plastic pins come out easily if you get a forked tool under the head of the pin,.. A screwdriver can work as well w/caution.

The pins are cheap off ebay, I get the Mopar ones that the pin head is separate from the body of the fastener. Kinda like wall anchors for house use,..

 

where did you get your inner finder splash guard from? i ordered one from rockauto and it was a pos. need an original if possible

On my 2011 Chevy hhr I took off the wheel well splash shields together to the radiator drain plug and now I can’t figure out how they go back on . Please help!

 

You already asked that. I think the part you are referring to is the "wheelhouse liner". It should be a mirror image of the other side. Much wrestling is involved.

If you are really talking about the engine splash shield, you just have to fire what goes under and over what.
