Question Fuel filler

Just a question. In the fuel filler neck there is a hole for the gas nozzle. Is that hole just open, or is there a flapper valve like manufactors have used for years. Mine is just open, so I am wondering what other HHRs are like.

Now that you mention it... Nada on the flapper here...

Mine doesn't have one eather, but it looks like they made the opening onlt big enough to except the unleaded fuel nozzel.
