Question fulltimergene

We live fulltime in a Motorhome. Tow the '07 HHR behind the coach. Was wondering if anyone makes a cover to go over the fog lights. A little concerned that stones may possibly get past the stoneguard of the coach and break the lamps. Checked with my dealer and none listed in their catalog.
Thanks, fulltimergene

Haven't seen or heard about any fog covers. However, with all the stone chips in the bumper and hood of Dory, I'm sure that her fog lights have taken a few hits as well and still work fine.

Check on Ebay, I know they have the clear precut 3M type protectors for the headlamps and for mostly all of the front end, so they possibly do have the fog lamp protection available.

I've seen nothing like that, but then again, I've never looked.

to the forum and make your fog covers yourself with styrofoam like said before, or if you can't, tow your motorhome with your HHR to avoid stone chips

Something else to try would be to get some stainless gutter mesh, cut it into the shape of the opening. Line the edges with door edge guard material and put that into the hole. If you shoved it in far enough, it should stay in place and the door edge guard would protect the paint from the edges. Then you can still use the lights as needed.

OH WOW. I wish I could retire and do that. I've got 6 more years to go, and I don't know if I'm going to make it or not. What a great life that must be.
