Ditto. As long as they don't get $3+ I'm happy though.

Up to $1.89 today... down from as low as $1.39 just a couple of weeks ago. Strange... crude is again falling... not as low as it was a month ago, but still no justification for the recent increase. I sent a letter today to the KY attorney generals office about price gouging.

That's the oil companies BS price hiking on projected costs which the government allows them to do. Unfortunately they don't force them to rebate the gouge once those same projected increases don't come to pass. Oh and there is no way what we are paying now is fine. They are also allowed to use projected refining costs including replacing equipment whose replacement costs were recouped decades ago using this uber convoluted "oil math". Just like the phone company's "line maintenance" cost projections, used or not they still get to charge it and there's a lobbyist or 20 who'll be keeping it that way.

90 cents per liter. I believe gas prices will be heading way up again. Partly because of the middle east countries will eventually attack Israel and the west will come to its aid, which will lead russia, iran, iraq and so on to turn off the taps. this global recession is leading into something much much bigger in the next 1-3 years.
