Wow, your HHR's got wood! How much weight do you think, about 500-600lbs? Could you feel the extra weight driving it? Stay warm!

I burn 2 1/2 cords of wood a winter. Lucky I don't have to haul it except from my back yard to the house. (a cord for those that don't know is a stack 4ft x 4ft x 8ft) got enough cut for 3+ winters I hope, so it will be well seasoned. My yard is getting bigger every year and not sure if I have enough for too many more years. Guess when I am 65 or 66 I'll have to get in shape again.

Yes i would say about 600 lbs. It lowered it another 2 inches, but still sailed along.

Wow...you're much braver than I am. I would be afraid I'd scratch the plastic sides in the car and also hav a terrible mess with all the wood shavings and so. Definitely a much braver soul than myself...I would have hand carried it or used a wheel barrow myself.

Love the grille...it looks really nice on your black HHR.

You have just demonstrated why I want a pick up truck! I already am crying over the mess in the car from not being able to vaccuum it out.
