GM & Chevy to announce a Huge Promotion on Monday 7/17

Hello Everyone,

With the success of the 0% Financing event last month. GM & Chevy will announce another huge promotion this Monday @ 3pm. It will go public on Tuesday with a huge commercial campaign going on.

Right now the rumor mill floating around is 0% plus Employee Pricing. If that is the case we are expected to be busy beyond belief. As well as all dealerships across the nation.

This is the push for all 2006's because the 2007's are already showing up. Now the 2007 Avalance, Tahoe, and Suburban might be included with the upcomming promotion also.

So if you are looking to trade in, trade up, or add to the fleet. Wait until at least Tuesday to see whats going to go on. I will keep you all posted as soon as I find out.

Thank you again!

Maybe I should trade my HHR for an Trailblazer SS? I wonder what the trade in value would be on my HHR.

The Trailblazer SS is HOT! When I traded in my HHR 2 weeks ago for a Monte Carlo SS I got $15,700 for my trade in. I had a 2LT with everything except XM, Onstar and 6 disc changer. It had 15,700 miles on it. Go to www.kbb.com and you will see what you should expect to get for your trade in.

I don't understand why? Maybe the bloom hasn't worn off the love affair yet, but I did go to KKB just to see trade in value. I don't think I would give the HHR up for that.

From what I have seen, used HHRs are only selling for a few hundred to a thousand dollars less than new. I haven't seen a big drop in the price for used. Of course, dealers are going to stick it to you on trade-in. That is why we bought our HHR outright instead of letting the dealer have our 99 Miata for $4000 when even KBB showed a trade-in value of over $8000. Private party price shows around $10k. The dealer told us that you will never get close to KBB price on a trade-in... Whether or not that is true I don't know. I have never traded a car in before. You just get a much better deal on a private sale.

CH, I was going to trade-in my HHR for a mitsu evo IX and they said (dealer) that my car is only worth $14K ($5k upside down). Its a 1LT with 3000 miles.

If you think about getting rid of your HHR, sell it yourself and then go buy another car. Don't fall for their trade-in scams.

I agree Songman about trade ins and I don't have any intention of selling my HHR. We love it, after 19 years of minivans and raising two daughters. It has suited our needs more than I could have hoped for and my wife loves it and that is important since she is the primary driver.
