Well, since I can't get the HID projectors, why not spend money on something else! What are the current sources, and does anyone have a used one to sell?

The source mentioned above, gmpartsdirect.com, charges $315, but then slathers on $75.60 for shipping. They make it clear that they essentially sell at cost and then make their profit by padding the shipping charges. Total would be $390.60 delivered.

All others online appear to be higher. I will try to hold out for a used one, since there is no hurry.
