GMPP Cold Air Intake Kit

I ordered an aftermarket All Weather Cargo mat for my HHR from a website called chevroletpartspeople.com. The mat I had seen at other places for $90 plus shipping. This place had it for $72 plus $14 shipping.

Mine is in Gray though

After hearing in some other threads that the GMPP CAI wasn't being produced anymore, I called my local Chevy dealer and sure enough he said he can't even get it anymore.

So on a whim I went back to the chevroletpartspeople.com website and searched there. It doesn't show up under 2007, only under 2008. But they have it in stock for $360 with $46.76 shipping, $406.76 out the door. GMpartsdirect has it for $327 but they charge $68.80 in shipping and then they charge sales tax for NC which is another $25.39, for a total of $421.79.

Not terribly cheaper but at least good to know there is another option. When you call the websites phone number it actually goes to a GM Car dealer called Auburn Chevy..they are in Auburn, Washington. So you aren't dealing with some warehouse person, but a real GM parts department.

I ordered the contoured mud flaps with logs too. Prices are very reasonable I thought. Just thought I would share with the rest of you! :)

FYI I just looked up the GM Performance Exhaust system(which I think is a Borla as some have mentioned) and its only $46 in shipping as well. Not bad

Chevrolet part# 19158628 - Exhaust System by GM - Performance Exhaust System, Catalytic Converter... 1 $640.00 $640.00
Ground Shipping $46.75
Total: $686.75

I know..I have been trying to get him to contact me for 3 days now. I tried to PM him, but his PMs are turned off, it basically takes a day just to get one response from him. Someone else is interested now so it will probably end up being a bidding war

Did you just get the cargo mat? I got the front, rear and cargo all weather mats last week. There is a little getting used to the rubber smell for a few days....

Haven't gotten it yet...no. But I am use to the rubber smell. You can spray it with some Pledge Multi-surface cleaner(and I mean really spray it) and let it dry with the hatch open and you should be good to go.
