Since we're talkin tire, I'm curious if a 235/40/18 is gonna have clearance issues, I know it's a wide tire but I like the fat tire look and if I did my math properly it's goona be closest to my stock speedo

ebay the 16's off..or list them here in the classifieds.

As to using '45' or '50' aspect ratio tires. I would go for the 50, your ride quality will be better..(little more sidewall for cushion)...

The 235/40R18 will clear fine. I had a toss up between those or the 225/45. I decieded I wanted a little more height. The Goodyear Eagles I got are about as wide as the 235 anyway.
