After months of planning and waiting I'm finally going to the dealer on Saturday to talk to a salesman on placing an order for a 2007 HHR LT

I have been admiring this car for over a year and now that September is here and my wife is back to work for the school year we are ready to place an order.

I plan on the following:

2007 HHR 1SB (similar to 1LT in U.S.)
comes with 16" Aluminum rims
Imperial Blue Metallic
Ebony Interior
Running Boards (standard equipment in Canada on '07)
Roof Rails
Automatic
Remote Start
Sun and Sound Package (sunroof, 6 CD changer, Pioneer speaker package)
Fog Lights
Leather Wrapped Steering Wheel
Rear Spoiler

Still undecided on ABS and Side Head Curtain Air bags

I appreciate any feedback on my selections. I have also looked at getting the full blown 1SC package (similar to 2LT) but I think I prefer the satin look of the grille and door handles vs. the chrome look.

What is this 1SC package you mention? That is definitely new.

For the 2006 model year, only the 1SA and 1SB packages were available on the LT, and ABS was standard on the LT with 1SB package.

Still no 2007 info on the GM Canada site

 

For some reason they changed the 1SA and 1SB to 1SB and 1SC. I guess that means the LS is 1SA now!!

 

you'll definitely have to post pictures. I believe you'll be the first official owner of an Imperial Blue on this site. You'll be the new RARE HHR. :twothumbs

 

Looks like I'm going to have to go to the dealership on Saturday and see our salesman. May have to order one soon myself

 

Pictures will be a long way away. I'm placing a factory order to save more money on the GM discount I qualify for. I probably won't get the car until November.

I know what the discount is if I buy from dealer inventory, but the discount on factory orders vary depending on the model.

That's why I am heading to see our salesman on Saturday to find out

 

That was a very impressive list of goodies, only missing ONE Item,.. YR-2 decal !!!!

 

I do not think this will be the new "rare" HHR. dealer I got mine from has had up to 7 on his lot at one time. I was just there this weekend and they still had 2 of them. The teal is going to be the rare color I bet
