Gone in a Blue Flash

Well my much loved panel, only 109 in blue flash, had an unfortunare encounter with a loser that blew a stop sign, never even took his foot off the gas. The panel hit his rear tire and axle at about 40mph. Took the hit like a trooper, but more than likely gave its life to protect its appreciative owner.

I only had a year with this particular panel, my second, and I was so lucky to find it. 2lt, sunroof, leather , heated seat, 70k miles, one owner, from florida, garaged, oil change every 3k since new, yup, this was the one, was gonna ride her off into the sunset.

Well, this was such a rare find, that I pretty much concluded that I'll end up in some other kind of vehicle. If anyone ends up coming across a low mileage, 2lt panel, with some uniqueness to it, by all means message me. I'll be checking on this site for a while. Was already on eBAY, autrader etc. Nothing but beaters right now.

I may be posting some oarts up for sale soon.

Btw...my $650 trex hybrid old school grill ended up flattened like a pancake and found in a snowbank. Still trying to accept this beauty won't be sitting in my driveway anymore, I am a little over the top regarding my fondness for nice vehicles, especially unique ones, and this was just my worktruck.

I'll still be hanging aroundGone in a Blue Flash-img_0056.jpg

Sorry to see of the misfortune. That looked like a well loved and cared for panel.

Hang in there - there has to be another one out there for you.

That is sad, but it did its job and protected you.
If it was meant to be, you will find another. That one is probably fixable if you want it badly enough.

Trex08,
Damn, I sure hate to see a good looking panel like that meet it's demise...

I've got a '10 dark blue one that I really like. There doesn't seem to be many panels
at all in my hometown.

"I may be posting some parts up for sale soon."

I'm looking for both rear mud flaps for mine. If they're available, please let
me know, eh?

Sorry to hear this. Glad you are alright.

The car looks like a good candidate for someone doing a project build such as a RWD conversion or such.
Wish you were closer. I might have been interested.
