GPS test

Got to compare my GPS to the HHR's speedo today. The speedo is -1mph off after 60mph all the way up to 80. Up to 60 it is -2. I can live with that.

My speedo reads high by 1-2 mph at 60-70, if you consider that the GPS is correct.

Mine is always like 1 MPH higher when I pass the radar "check your speed" things....also my programmer MPH seems to be dead accurate with the radar...

I assume its just bit high from the factory?

Can we be totally sure that the GPS is not the one that's off?

Anybody who can see 1 or 2 mph on our speedo can see way better than me...

I compared my gps with my aeroforce, which plugs it the obd port, they were right on, still can't see the speedo.

Funny thing. My regular speedo and the RPD speedo are 1-2 mph different at about 65mph. Weird because I thought they get the readings from the same source.

Mine seems more accurate since I added the slightly bigger tires..

If you look closely at the speedo you'll probably find the needle is not quite on the zero mark....so whatever the amount the needle is off will show thruout the entire range
