Thanks Firewatcher! That's why I love these forums!

While we're on the topic of great dealers (in this nicely merged thread, I might add) I want to add belated kudos to a now departed dealership where I bought my first Chev back in the day...Carrow Chevrolet in Orchard Park, NY. If they were still in business I know they'd be pushing HHR's like no one else!

Thumbs up a nod to a helpful dealer

Just wanted to give a dealership the thumbs up!
Great American Chevy in Hackensack NJ helped me upgrade my 08 2.4 lt panel. I had them do the pal, steering wheel radio controls, fog lamps with switch and install tire pressure transmitters in after market rims.
I asked the dealer where I bought the car (Bellavia) about these installs and they refused to do them (also not responding to an email with all the parts and diagrams from Chevy Direct). Great American was friendly and really did the homework including using the info on this forum. The service mgr even gave me some accessories that he had that were never installed on another HHR. They took the time to take care of a new customer and went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied.

Had a great service experience yesterday at Bill Jacobs Chevrolet/Cadillac in Joliet, IL. The SS had a few minor issues, and all were resolved promptly!

The BEST of the best

The BEST of the best is without a doubt.........

RELIABLE CHEVEROLET in Richardson, Texas!!!!!!!!!

A gentlemen there helped me with a missin' part that the Chevy dealer in Gaithersburg MD. couldn't seem to find the right part number for ( 3 times ) AND made sure I got the right part. The Rockville MD dealer where the HHR was purchased from more or less told me to pound sand. They seemed to think that I'd scratch a rim and cut a tire within 24 hours of purchase and randomly throw away parts that weren't bolted down.

Oh and the parts department is outstanding also!

RELIABLE CHEVROLET.............
