Grimm has run his trials...

and proved himself to me.

I just returned from a road trip to Seattle, where I drove nonstop each way.
2.5 days there, four days in Seattle, 2.5 days back. About 4800km each way.

Amazingly comfortable drive, even with three people in the car. I was averaging 8.9l/100km on the drive with an average speed of 121 km/h.

I have to say, I'm pleased. Now to take Grimm for a car wash, detailing, and oil change...

Ok, and what's that in english, err I mean SAE terms. I'm sorry I don't speak metric very well.

I know 110km/h is about 65mph, but that's only cause the cop explained it to me when he pulled me over for speeding , but the Liters part is more confusing to me.

Close 68+MPH
According to my trusty calculator, 121Km/h equals 75+ MPH
Kinda hard to believe for almost 3000Mi.

betterof2evils4 - There were three of us driving in shifts. I put down one of the rear seats and set up a bed for someone to sleep in. Sleeper HHR!
To be honest though, I only slept about 5 hours each way.

Dave C - Except for when we hit major cities like Chicago or Minneapolis, we were intentionally booting to make time. Stuck to the I-94 the whole way. The only time we really needed to take it slow was when we were going through the Rockies in Montana/Idaho.
