Last summer I replaced the AC condenser on our 2002 Chevy Venture. Most likely it was some highway debris or stone that punctured it. The cost was almost $700 FOR THE PART ONLY! Apparently its a new GM one-piece condenser/drier/accumulator. Hopefully you don't have the same big $$ unit in the HHR. For the record, I bought it from gmpartsdirect.com for about $350 instead of almost $700 at the stealer.

Would you believe that I took it to the dealer recommended body shop (no facilities at dealer) on Dec. 20, and still don't have her back! Parts were already at the body shop and a 2 day repair has turned into 3 weeks!!
I am still without my HHR!!
