HA Ha Ride

Met a lady driving a new HHR LS in a parking lot here in Oshawa. Parked beside me, we struck up a conversation and I happened to mention what the HHR letters stood-for. She thought about it for a few seconds and told me her neighbours all asked her what it meant. Finally she said not wanting to appear stupid she told them it meant Ha Ha Ride. And....can you believe her dealer didn't know either.

So much for not wanting to appear stupid.

The dealer not knowing was most likley the salesman not knowing. That is not a suprise.

As for her repliy it is as good as anything. When I tell the real name meaning usally gets me a blank stares and a What does that mean?

While I love my HHR I still wish they had just given it a proper name.

I simply use the words in my signature (below) to fill the acronym.
