Ok, stupid question comes to mind here. Why would they have back doors and no rear seating?

this seems to keep popping up in new threads.
It's been discussed before, it's not a special vehicle called semi-panel, I believe it's a new option called "Rear Window Delete." Prolly available on all HHR's that are special ordered (of course, not on the panel which is already filled in). Tell me if I'm wrong...

MOTRV8D ; you are right! RIVERRATT3; The rear doors on the panel are to load & unload from the side, to get to storage box, ect. It is a small work van/truck !!

Much better than the panel's blind spot!!!
Heck, even that left rear passenger window is blind as far as I'm concerned. I use well-adjusted mirrors, general awareness and a tossed glance over my left shoulder if in doubt! By the time I look out that back window, I'd be on the exit to nowhere!

Yea... The thing that gets me about the panels, though, is not that it has doors, but that it has handles on the inside where they regularly are, but no seats

OK, I know this is old but you can do other things in the back of a panel besides sit! And you still have to get out........sometime!
