I disconnected my DRL and found out that when I turn on the windshield wipers the lights come but the dash lights don't dim on pretty cool.

Just pull the DRL fuse in the underhood fuse panel. I think it was #43, but check your schematic. It just turns off the DRL's, all the other functions remain the same including the photodiode auto on at dusk.
