Wouldn't that be a negative in the summertime? I mean if you have leather seats they are already hot enough in the summer. I leave my AC on in the summer and remote start my car to cool it down before I get in.

 

Captain, that's why they would need to wire up the seats to come on when the temperature is below a certain value. The rear window defrost is rigged up that way, when you use the remote start it will turn on the rear defrost when it's around freezing. I'm sure the seats could work the same way.

 

Would/could that put to much demand on the alternator, when idling?
