Hi all,
Heavy mods have begun! I've cut the liftgate down the middle in preparation for the barn door fabrication. The quarter panel taillight "blisters" are cut out for smoothing and relocation of the lights. The rear bumper facia will be cut in half and the lower half will be used to bolt to a true chrome steel bumper bolting to the existing steel crash bumper under the facia. After all of this restyling surgery is complete, I'll move to the front and do the same basic treatment and replace the headlights with something closer looking to the original 47-53 trucks ( more like the SSR ). This will be a true panel truck, unlike the upcoming one from chevy! I'll post pictures as progress is made.

Can't wait to see the barn doors. That's something I would like to see available as an option.

 

 

Barn doors would be the coolest thing they could do to this car. It sould come that way standard
