Talking Bulldawg449's Wagon Progress (Pic Heavy!)

Hey y'all!

Been a minute since I last posted in these parts. After a little while of contemplating (and paying off the HHR 2 years early!), I'm back on the hunt on my mods and figured I'd start up a new thread to cover what all I'm doing. I know Chef and Lunchie have seen some of my stuff on Instagram, but wanted to expand the audience, so people know we're still kickin' around here!

First up, I'll recap where I started and where I'm at!

The day I brought her home (you can see my old GC in the background):

So to current events! I'm actually in the middle of tackling a retrofit. Waiting for a few things to come in to clean up the assembly, so I can get the ball rolling, but I've got pretty much everything I need to get it up as soon as I can dremel the butt of the reflector housing.

I'm still stuck on whether I want rings or not, but I've got some time before I seal them up to decide.

My bad! Guess OneDrive doesn't enjoy direct linking.

Great pictures, but they are way oversize - they are supposed to be limited to 640x480 due to bandwidth and other issues.

You might find this link handy for reference: https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/site...software-2621/

So I took a Dremel to the butt of the light housing and got it down to where I could fit the mounting ring properly. I'm probably going to look into painting the housing and removing the chrome to get it to all black. Ready for these to be running and on! Did a test fit, but need to figure out the plan of attack on the shrouds.

Evening everyone!

Just got done adjusting the new projectors. Easily one of the most difficult, but most rewarding projects I've done so far.

Looks excellent, bulldawg449. In consideration of your overall "black" theme - I think your HHR will look even better if you paint the ends of the AC condenser - unless there is some technical reason that this should not be done.
