Hello all

Hello. My name is Travis and I bought my wife an HHR, picking it up Wednesday. So, what do I need to know, need to change right away or correct from the factory?

No sense in beating around the bush about it

travis

Check out some of the forums. Most of the important "check right away" stuff is stickied and easy to find. One of those is the check the under hood fuses. most of us have found that they aren't set real well. just give each one a firm push down.

BTW, welcome!!

Almost forgot, be sure to check out the Mid-Central Region, always something going on there. And be sure to check out the Shindig in Shell Knob. www.shindiginshellknob.com

Welcome csx!

Yes check the fuses before leaving the lot. And if you did not already order them, the running boards should be installed ASAP, to avoid future paint problems.

If you have any specific questions, don't be afraid to ask. Lots of knowledge and wisdom here.

BTW.......

to the forum. There's tons of info here to absorb and what you don't see and want to know, just ask. The fuses are definitely an issue that should be addressed immediately, as well as the running board issue.

Another thing you might want to change is the rear windield wiper, as it only pulls away from the window an inch or so and it's a little hard to clean. All you need to do is to remove the black cover and use an exacto knife to cut off the stop that keeps it from pulling away from the window. If you need, let us know and one of us will go pull ours off and post a picture of the part that needs to be cut.
