Your in the same boat as me. Own a VW and drive an HHR. To me it's just retro and original together. The circle of life, a beautiful thing.

Welcome to the forum and go buy one!

There are a few vw people on here I see.
My problem is, I can't afford to keep and store both. If I get the HHR, the Vanagon Must Go.

It's a sad day when you have to give up a VW.

I was looking at your avatar...
I think it is the right fender of a Squareback or a Fastback. I don't think it is a Ghia... it does remind me of a type 34 though?

Secon person to guess correctly on this forum. A 72 fastback. I also own a 74 bus. Wife drives a 2005 new beetle. I'll post pics in my gallery for all to see.

Got the bus on but the fasty is not working with me, sorry.

Not yet, but I love his commercials I think I said it before, I grew up around VW and have always had one. First car, met my wife because of one, learned a lot about cars because of one. They are the only vehicle I am totally loyal to. Don't get me wrong, I love the HHR, but in thrity years are you going to have mutiple aftermarket companies dedicated to the rebuilding of the HHR? Besides I just love playing with cars in general and I hate boring stock looking vehicles like everyone else on the road is driving.
