Hello everyone
re:hhrmajesty
Wow! I can't believe how quick the responses have been. I'll take some pics in the morning and post'em. HHRMAJESTY, thanks for the suggestion but reclining the seat back to compensate for the armrest would mean that I would be practically lying down while driving, which I'm sure would make it very difficult to drive and be breaking a few laws. I've been using the passenger armrest while I've been driving because it's level unlike my armrest.

Hello fellow HHR owners, or non-PT Cruiser owners. My wife and I purchased our 07 HHR 1LT last Sunday, we've named it Harvey. We got a smokin' deal on it and so far I have been very happy with it. Last fall we rented an '06 HHR for a road trip and after we returned it to the rental company we talked about how this would be a great car to purchase after my 1993 Nissan Pathfinder with 233K miles died. I'm glad that this forum is here.
The armrest on the driver seat goes down further than the passenger seat. It's like the passenger armrest is even while the driver seat armrest has a 4% downhill grade. Is this standard? Has anyone gotten it fixed? Let me know what you think.

I recall there was a way to adjust the arm rest. This was some time last year but for the life of me, cannot find the thread or post.
I will keep looking though, perhaps someone will have better luck finding the old thread!

I believe that you can pop the cover off of the side of the armrest, remove it and re-index the resting point of the armrest. I was looking into doing this but got vetoed by my other half (the primary driver of our HHR).
