Black....black is good!! But it is a chore to keep clean. But when it shines, the HHR looks magnificent!!!

Nice ride! Probably somewhat rare too being a limited edition with a manual!

was thinking maybe a black "exotic" insert but even another 100 puts the cost over the top quick.

Just a normal black insert may look good it perforated, but there's other parts of the interior that are really light.

Like WTF was Chevy thinkin when they put a light gray headliner and pillars in a black interior?? I've changed headliners once before but it was a ***** to R&R, and that one was much much smaller too than the beast of a headliner board in the HHR.

I think if I do 2-tone it has to be basic leather for cost and durability
yea thats one thing that makes me mad about my ebony interior, light gray on the pillars and headliner I hate that

after looking at other pics of silver katzkins leather...

I think this SSR helped convince me silver would look good as an insert color:

And this pic sold me on PERFORATED silver. OMG it looks metallic!

I don't think that our HHR seats would look that good with centers 2-toned, I saw the patterns and the lines aren't that appealing. On paper at least.. And too bad our "black" interiors aren't blacker so I could go with Black instead of Dark Graphite outers.

Probably going to order from promotiontuning

because the price seems decent. Hard to get on the phone tho, apparantly they are moving to Texas or something.

now that I look at it again maybe thats not perforated in that second link. Stlii looks badass.

was also thinking all Dark Graphite, with silver double stitch (hard to clean?) and silver HHR logos. If I can get HHR logos.

I dunno I'm tired

Welcome from another Chicagoland HHR owner. (Far north suburbs)

There's a lot of forum members in the greater Chicago area. Keep your eyes open for meet and greets and car shows around the area.

I'm a bit west of you, never really go out to waukegan. Except on my way home from the dealer I went the wrong way (didnt see compass in rearview mirror either LOL) and ended up out there.

Then I stopped for gas, wouldn't believe how long I looked for the gas door release!! Then I proceeded to pour 87 octane in the tank, only to wonder the next day where all the low end power went...

RTFM helped clear some stuff up about the HHR (Reading The Fscking Manual)

Anyhow it should not be too hard to spot mine with the plates I have :) The Route 66 plate fits well on it eh?
