Hello from sunny and hot Fla!
Does anyone know the size of the oil pan and transmission drain plugs for '07 2.2L hhr?
I would like to purchase magnetic plugs for these.
Thanks for some info.

Started to do a search and all I found was this thread. look at post #5 for oil drain plug but if you have an automatic, they are a sealed unit and no plug https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/show...size#post25606

Thanks 08. I thought I read in the supplied manual that there is a recommended tranny fluid change @ x no. miles. Anyhoo, I'd like to have magnetic plugs at all appropriate installs.
Thanks again,

Actually the auto trans does have a drain plug but its not for the purpose of draining-- its a check plug for setting/checking fluid level.

Thanks for the welcome! I really like my hhr I have named 'Frosty Princess', after a beautiful grey Morgan mare.
I have learned a lot about these amazing cars and mine has exceeded all expectations.
There is a plug under the driver side dash that resembles a serial bus port. Is that the car's computor hook-up?
Thanks again,
graver

I purchased my magnetic oil drain plugs on ebay a few weeks ago for about $6. If anyone is interested in getting one.
