Same year and transmission

I'd have battery load tested first and foremost.
My TPS light is always on too. I have new sensors to install but can't get access to system with keyless remote (another story)
My HHR has more electrical gremlins than most any vehicle I've ever owned.

Battery test results?__________________________...

Might we assume this car is new to you?
Does it have the Original radio? The chimes are played by the radio.
Yes, 2008 models do need updated firmware for the RCDLR if the battery has gone dead. Replacing it will not fix it unless it gets the new firmware installed. To answer the question the RCDLR (the receiver for the fob and TPMS) is located under that bump in the headliner near the mirror.

To clarify, you returned the new battery and got another new one?

Do you leave anything plugged into the cig lighter?
When did this start?

Please just tell us something in complete sentences. I really hate playing 20 questions.

Yes, something is discharging the new battery, anything from a shorted wire, improperly installed aftermarket radio or amp, phone charger plugged into the power outlet, dome light left on....
