Not sure on a name, but did want to say, welcome aboard, I guess I missed, your earlier posts.

I do recognize the IMBA sticker, from another IMBA member, and Mtn & Road Bike Racer with an HHR, cool deal!!

The pictures, with the Sunflowers in the background, very Tour De France (Graham Watson Photography) scenery like!!

Later,
Mark

Hi there!

Welcome aboard!, I like this thread, I love naming cars, Oh, I am Jose by the way, I have a blue HHR named WHEELIE who I love dearly, Wheelie will help you name your HHR ok?

(I take the picture to Wheelie and tell him about you and your hobbies, Wheelie looks at the picture and immediately knows your HHR, they studied together in Chevrolet High School!, Your HHR got very good grades!..HEEHEE! ..ANYWAY...Wheelie smiles and suggests the following names to you...

Tiger
Zoomer

Trails...(Wheelie immediately thought of TAILS from Sonic the Hedgehog, but since your HHR has no tail, and you like hiking...TRAILS sounds more fitting to your HHR..Wheelie's opinion..HEEHEE!)

FLAMER

I Hope Wheelie helped you!!!!

'Kay, how about Dawn?
Tang? (for the USAF/astronaut link)
Afterburner?
Icarus?

For the cycling link ... Peleton (sic)?
Trek?

From one Sunburst Orange owner to another...here's a couple I came up with

Mrs. Peel (as in orange and also "The Avengers")
Jazzy - cuz it's a jazzy color
Buttercup - just think it sounds cool

Here's a site that has over 800 car nicknames if you'd like some more ideas.

I'd name it "Fudd" that just works for me, true he was a hunter ( BWAM ! ), but he never got Bugs Bunny, so he's cool

"Fudd", That's the ticket. Elmer would wear an orange coat in the woods too if he was hunting for Bugs these days. For safety. And heck, the HHR is a safe car

You could even get a head bobbler:

When I get an orange HHR ( I will someday, it's my favorite color ) I'll call it Fudd, unless you do!

Okay first things first, CPT Howdy, that was funny as hell.

Second WELCOME TO THE SITE!!

And for the name:

keeping along the lines of what HARPO said,

ELMER,
or
The "goldfather" if your italian,
or
Tang like desert coyote said but I'd do it because of the drink,
or
just CREAM, like the creamsicle, cause Howdy does have a point, if your white.
or
Juice, as in orange juice, or better yet quoted from urbandictionary.com
Respect and credability on the street.--I can't be seen with them - they don't have juice.

Of course this is comeing from a guy who can't even name his own car

What do the girls what to name it????? Kids rock at naming things.

However, "The Goldfish", sounds like it might be a winner.
The cool thing about Marlin is, is that there was a car with that name in '65, '66, and '67. Going to auto swapmeets could net you a chrome name plate (they're not large) to affix to your HHR, plus they have a cool fish cast in the design.
