Help - my headliner is showing!!!

About a month ago my wife and I were out in the garage, when she noticed that my lead-edge of the headliner on my 2007 HHR was showing.

It didn't appear to me to be sagging or anything - but you can see the upper edge of the headliner (kind of a seam) showing though the front window.

I took it to the Chevy dealer that does all my warranty work and the service manger couldn't figure it out. We looked at several HHR's in the lot and they all were not showing a seam/edge.

For lack of a better solution - the service manager ended up ordering a whole new headliner. They are going to replace it under warranty.

But here's the problem - it's been 5 weeks and the headliner never comes in.

I've called so often - the service manager calls me the "headliner guy". He says he has my phone number on his computer terminal and will call me when it comes in.

It sure seams like a month is a long time to wait for a part that may or may not solve the problem.

What should I do?

Keep calling..?Try a different dealership..? Is there a Chevy warranty number I should call..?

I'm stumped - please help!

As I understand it, most GM parts are on backorder due to the bankruptcy...

Check www.gmpartsdirect.com

As I understand it, both GM and Chrysler are having problems supplying parts now. Hope its very temporary.
