An HHR as a '53 Buick???

I was surfing the net this morning looking for HHR pictures and I found this HHR converted into a 1953 Buick. Evidently, it is a kit you can buy from: www.californiacruisers.com/hhr_1953_woody.htm

Yep he has been doing mods on PT's and HHR's.
Not a new place, but some nice work.

I agree. When you take radical steps like that you have to be prepared for criticism. I can't get past the painted on "Wood." Hell you can take less radical step to customization and not everyone is going to like it. Thats what custom is all about. Its PERSONAL...to YOUR liking

The idea is good, but the execution is not! It's very pepboyish, too unfinished...tacked on.

Yeah. The round front lights are a great idea but the fenders should have been reworked and formed to put in real round lights rather then the forced frog looking things. The "wood" should be at least a wood vinyl kit with raised framing. There should be a strip of chrome down the center of the hood leading to the hood ornament.

I love the wheels and side molding as well as the visor.
