Thumbs up Hhr A/c

Had our HHR in for service yesterday. They gave a 2006 Colbalt to drive overnight. I was real suprised that the Colbalt A/C is nothing compared to the HHR. It was 95 yesterday and I had the Colbalt A/C cranked up on max just to be comfy. Got our HHR back and could not have the fan running on high, let alone max cool. I love it!!

I hear where you're coming from. You put the HHR A/C on max, you'll be knocking icicles off yourself in mine.

My AC sucks. I'm going to take it into the dealer to check the freon charge when I get a chance.

The HHR has a much larger condenser than a Cobalt. An AC unit is just a heat exchanger. The more surface areea for the cooling process the cooler the AC. Notice that the HHR doesn't even have (or need) an extra cooling fan on the condenser.

Maybe it's all the hot air in there when you're in the car. Just kidding CH...but you did leave yourself wide open for that one.

Seriously...hope you get it fixed real soon.
