That was quite a $h*t-kicking!!!

People need to keep their dogs in their fenced yards and under control. The momma deer was obviously afraid for the fawn's life. So many stupid dog owners....

Not going to speak to what the dog was doing out and about, and why cat owners seem to think that dogs should be kept locked up while their beasts are digging their claws into my paint job is beyond the pale.

In this case, if it were my dog (I do let them out sometimes, ya know... but we live in the country) I'd defend the mutt for pretty much the same reason the deer was defending her young'un. Just the way life goes, besides, I saw nothing that indicated the dog was trying anything anyway.
The cat, on the other hand, was pretty cheeky. I had to chuckle at its nerve, to swipe at the nose of a much larger animal, but the dog?

My freezer is currently empty anyway.

The deer cannot prevent the encounter. Humans can. We can think and use reason and logic. People that let their dogs roam the neighbourhood seem to be lacking in these however.

Doggie got his @ss handed to him...... Cat just about did also.

Dog and cat owners need to keep their pets under control.

Glad to see some logic here, the comments on You Tube were stupid. Dogs should be leashed or fenced, cats kept in doors. My freezer is currently empty as well

People think deer are just cute little things. You get a momma riled she will kick the crap out of a bear.

They have killed people once in a while.

We have so many deer around here anymore they need thinned out. The PETA freaks keep fighting them and do more damage as many are getting sick and dying for lack of food.

I hear that. I'll defend my dog to the death. She is my fishing, hiking and relaxing buddy. Yelling was going to do nothing. Had it been my dog.....she would have gotten the first piece of deer balogna.

I wanna know what a deer was doing in the middle of an urban neighborhood?
