Smile HHR in a few days

Hello all,

Getting an HHR in a few days. Found your forum and hope to learn a lot from it. Any advice on what to check out on the test drive? I'll also be searching for test drive advice and any other info I can use.

Mike

1LT, auto trans, orange. I am trading in an Xterra because I am getting reamed by the gas prices, plus the HHR is cooler looking. I have always had Toyotas and Nissans, so this is Chevy's chance to show me quality. It's their only shot at it, so I hope the quality is there. From what I've read, it is.

I think you will like the quality also, have only had mine 1500 miles but am very pleased with the quality. My last 2 new vehicles 05 Nissan Altima and 02 Dodge dakota quad cab had a few minor issues within the first 1000 miles. They were not big problems but it is a pain in the a** to have to take your vehicle into the dealership for minor crap. I guess it beats having major problems but I am hoping nothing goes wrong with the chevy. In the last 16 years I have had 3 new chevys and have never had any problems.

I've had my Orange Metallic 1LT 5 spd since 1/06 and love it. Make sure you get running boards so you don't end up with sandblasting around wheel areas. Other than that you are making a great choice and will love the HHR.
