As much as Garmin charges for their mapping software upgrades, I wouldn't doubt that they'd ask you for $75, because "they don't own the rights". Been there before with Garmin...

You can upload an HHR logo on the TomTom GPS directly from your computer, for free.

i drew one for my tom tom and actually posted it on here quite awhile ago.

i need to redo it though so it's at like a 3/4 shot from above, right now it doesn't look correct driving on the 3D road.

You can connect your TomTom to your computer via USB cable, and there's a program you can download from TomTom that allows you to create your very own 'welcome' screen at start-up. One of our members has it. His just has the HHR logo.

I'll find out from him what model his TomTom is, and post it here.

So my TomTom stopped working (says "no maps found"--wth?!) and in the process of looking for an answer on their site, found this:
http://create.tomtom.com/manuals/cre...r-own-content/

it has directions on adding your own pix!

Now if I can get it start working again, I will try this!
(if not, YahooMaps or bread crumbs for the 'Dago g2g)
