Because the HHR doesn't get much support. Hell I don't even see ads for it in car mags.

As a former managing editor for Primedia (18+ years), I can tell you. The problem is category - it's a "crossover" and that poses several problems.
It's not a car, it's not a truck. It's kind of a wagon - and how many magazines do you see on the stands for wagons? (Nomads excluded!) Not many.

Then there is the problem of supporting advertisers. Not too many companies are making aftermarket parts for HHR's, so once the initial shock of the 4 tricked-out SEMA build-off cars wears off, no one wants to run HHR pieces anymore.

You will continue to see "comparisons" with similar vehicles because that pays the bills and keeps 3 or more manufacturers happy with one article!

Magazines are paid for by advertisers not subscribers or newsstand sales. For every magazine you see on the stands there are thousands of issues given away (or thrown away). It's turned into a game of dollars and no sense.

That's it in a nutshell basically...

The Andy Dick ones do not count. They only ran once each the night Chevy bought all of the ad time on Jay Lenos show.
