I wouldn't care if the Orlando sold 100,000 or 1 unit, I would never be one of the people buying one. That is not a replacement for the HHR. I bought it because it did the job for me and I liked the looks. I didn't want a mini-van, I wanted something with some style. GM is making a big mistake replacing the HHR with that thing. It's like Chrysler replacing the Neon with the Caliper.

Just my point. The HHR is for those of us that would not want to be caught dead in a Mini Van.

If there was no HHR or something similar I may buy my first 4n car a Mini.

You guys do have a point I love the looks of the HHR. But I am not going to buy another HHR once its time to replace my old one for a new one. Ill want something different. I have a young family and the more seats the better. I like a 3rd row in the orlando. It is different enough from mini-vans to not look like a soccer mom. But what most intrigues me is the 2.0 turbo-diesel. Diesels can reap 30-35% better fuel economy and it gets even better when you run bio-diesel. 45-50 mpgs sounds very attractive! Not that 35mpgs i average with the hhr is bad but more is better.

Problem is in the states little SUV's with a 3rd row are not anything in demand like they are in Europe. IF people want a third row they look to larger vehicles where you don't have to be LT Dan to sit in the back.

As for Diesels I would love to see them take off but Americans just refuse to buy them. It is like a Six speed manual many cry for one but few buy them outside sports models.

The Orlando will never sell in the numbers the HHR does unless it is Cheap.

diesel is nice, But having owned one, better MPG is often offset by mait. cost. more qts per oil change, more money for oil & air filters, And when the turbo go's out can be costly
