order was cancelled immediately from Rock, and all GMpart web sites. I have part request into my local Chev. dealer. Haven't heard back from him. 2009 with 107K rendered useless because GM decides to discontinue!
There should be some avenue to remedy this. Letter to GM web site or bad review for GM all around on this. Don't think I will ever by GM again.

 

The SS was discontinued 11 years ago, the parts supply has dried up. As the SS was a limited production model, pre bankruptcy, GM doesn’t care.

 

If somebody with a micrometer wanted to spend a few hours in a warehouse full of ball joints.......
I find it very hard to believe there are NO other applications for the ball joints, just lazy catalogers.

 

Which brings us back to post #1 , in this thread, news about a bolt on ball joint!
