Ouch! Your lift gate has a small dent , and the bumper cover a few scratches!
The Mercury looks like a write off!

Are you , OK? No neck pains, things like that?

Lift-gate is actually fine, just the angle of the picture. Did a number on the bumper cover, but oh well. Helped him pick up his pieces and sent him on his way.

Nah, no pain, all good. Car rolled over 184k shortly after, and still going.

Maybe a buff and a little touch up paint, then?

So, glad you are ok!

Eh, several spots dug through the bumper. I wont bother with it. Just another daily driver battle scar! Lol!

Sorry to see your car got damaged.
FYI. Take a look around your battery and cables. Make sure that the battery hold down wasn't compromised from the impact. Also, from the looks of the impact I'll bet that the inner metal bumper is bent in. Check that area to make sure the body didn't get bent in towards the battery area.
Not much room between the body panel and the battery and spare tire area.

On the plus side, ive had an exhaust rattle for a long time now. Not sure what it was, but he gave my exhaust tip a good smack and now the rattle is gone lol! Sounded like a loose hanger or clamp jingle, got torqued enough to stop rattling.
