Smart idea. When I had my '95 Caprice, it was everything cop car except the sirens. I could of easily pulled over anyone. And I'll admit, I did a couple times.

Bad idea. Criminal violation idea, actually, if you impersonated a police officer.

I didn't stop, just put on the lights so they'd move over and I kept on going.

Man the things people come on and admit to, truly amazing.
I believe that impersonating an officer is pretty close to a Federal offense, and it makes it more dangerous for real cops, because people want to keep driving until a marked car comes along, all the while, a real cop is getting more angry and frustrated. The pull over becomes news footage, and the person who`s been impersonating is sitting at home yucking it up...
Now that`s a persons ride that should be crushed, I`m gonna stop short of saying, he should be in it.....

Talking about people impersonating cops...

Is it just me, or does EVERYONE who owns a white Impala do the following:

Remove standard hubcaps, replace with chrome nuts and wheels rings
Tint windows as dark as possible
Attach extra antennas to the rear window
Drive slow and pretend to be a bad-ass cop

I HATE those people.

Ive played the game but to my real shame
Youve left me to dream all alone

No, it`s just you. Most people I know (of) wouldn`t do or think that was a good idea, and they certainly wouldn`t post anything like that on the www if they did.
Takes a certain kind of mentality to do either of those two.
But you know, I see REAL cops do that, turn on their lights , just to get through an intersection, apparently sometimes, when they don`t continue, and I believe it erodes the credibility of the lights when they`re really going somewhere. So when people don`t pull over right away, it`s from conditioning.
But pretending to be a cop, well that`s way over the line...

Growing up in Winnipeg, Marked and Unmarked Police Cruisers all had the first three letters the same on the plate (AEE 123)

And you just knew it was an unmarked anyways.

they wer YW15. Funny how you would see a Dodge with them plates, and then a Ford or Chevy
