Friend of ours has a 08 gold hhr with rootbeer ghost flames.

met with a volvo in an intersection about two weeks ago... the Volvo ran the light.

Damage to the hhr $3000 to the bumper, head light, wheel and passenger side front fender.

Volvo... driver door, door post and driver side rear door... $10,000 plus.

hhr drove away... Volvo, carried away.

NOTE... neither airbag inflated.

I think it depends on where and what it hit. I mean, I'm 6ft 180lbs. I would have a very tough time squaring off against 6'6 250lbs---unless I kicked him in the and he would go down sobbing like a school girl.

I have seen cars in my day nailing a semi and the car drove away and the semi was hauled away

 

Had an '02 PT loser in '03. Was hit in a police chase by the Perp. @ 75 mph. The Perp hit 6 other cars going through red lights at a shopping mall intersection in the city. All vehicles were carried away as well as myself and 3 others. Perp was arrested and ended up in a psych ward due to excessive drug use. Courts felt sorry for him...NOT me!
