In my 2008 Panel it's in the passenger side rear quarter panel about halfway between the floor and the headliner, just inside the back hatch.

Underneath the car, up in the frame in a box.
Talk about a PITA to replace!
I haven't looked for the batt in the H yet, but I knew it was in the back somewhere.

No. I have had the occasional dead batteries in other vehicles because I have left the lights on working or played the radio for too long and then not been able to start the vehicle far away from any civilization.

This is insurance. The two batteries are separated by a constant duty solenoid that is only activated when the fuel pump is operating. Thus anytime the engine is running both batteries are being charged, but the spare battery is disconnected at other times.
