As far as I know all years with RVS are the same and all years without RVS are the same.
There is some adjustment at the mounting bolts.

Is the problem with the latch? Or that the hood adjustment bumpers don't stay at the level you adjust them to?

I have to say it’s the latch assembly we’re it won’t lock down the hood and did spray it with silicone to make work better .. when pop the hood again then it won’t hold the hood down to a lock position.. I think the bumpers are fine but just won’t lock tight ..

Sticking cable maybe? Make sure the cable and latch mechanism are returning completely when you let go of the release lever.

I have Buick with a hood that needs a pretty good slam or it will pop up at some random time underway, hours or weeks later.

I removed the grille then loosen the latch mount bolts slightly and adjust the height of the hood, and tighten the bolts. Open hood and check to confirm your adjustment is good.
