Quick rehash for those of you who might not have read my first post. we bought a 2007 Sunburst orange HHr for my wife last sunday, at the same time we ordered the running boards along with the chevrolet 17" chrome 10 spoke wheels and tires to go with it. They were suppose to be here Wednesday.
Well, the parts guy called me last night and said that the running boards and wheels are there but that they are waiting on the tires. He said they promised him that the tires will be there by lunchtime TODAY. So as of the moment, I'm sitting here like a kid waiting to open presents on christmas day, everytime the phone rings hoping its the dealership calling to say the tires are there, come on up.
Guess I'll just continue waiting patiently...ok...thats a lie, forget the patiently part :)

Well, they called me at about 2:15 and said that the tires are there and they are putting them on the rims and balancing them. I asked him if we were going to be able to get them on today and he said he highly doubted it, that there wasn't enough time left to put them on as well as the running boards. I said, ok, so what about Tomorrow (Saturday), he said again I doubt it, the guy that installs accessories usually isn't there on Saturdays, to which i answered and I guess Mondays doubtful since its a holiday, to which he replied correct.
I hung up and called the main number to the dealership and asked for a manager, after I told him who I was he remembered me buying the HHR, I told him the issue I was having and reminded him that I spent $3,400.00 on accessories and that i was growing impatient on getting them installed. I also reminded him that I was waiting on the survey from chevrolet about my satisfaction with the dealership. They were very concerned about the survey and kept reminding me how important it was for them to recieve high scores when I was buying the car so I just reminded him that I was still waiting on it and if he could guarantee that my accessories would be on by tomorrow that I would guarntee him a exceptional score.
Five minutes after i got off the phone with him the other guy called me back and asked me if I could be there at 8:00am Tomorrow morning...LOL...I told him I'd be there

Good for you. It's just sad that sometimes you have to do that sort of thing...but whatever works.
It's not like you were asking for them to do something for nothing. You paid for the stuff and you are entitled to have it done now...not some time next week. Good job reminding them who pays their wages.
