How Can I Tell...

If I have an LT1 or LT2? I'm new. I bought my car used about a month ago. I know its an 07 LT. It has the 2.4 engine automatic w/ remote start, it has chrome detailing (mirrors, door handles, exhaust tip) and it has 17" tires. I'm not sure about the sound system? I know it has at least 6 speakers and a cd player. No Onstar or XM Radio. No moonroof or roof rack. It used to be a rental car. I'm thinking it's an LT1 but I would like to know for sure. Can anyone help?
Thanks!!

That's an LT2, the 17in wheels are the give away. Does it have ABS and traction control too? If so, LT2. Then again, they do make strange combo's for rental companies.

Check this out, it may answer your question.

Look for RPO code FE3 on the plaque in the glove box. That's for the "sport suspension" that is only available on the 2LT.

1LTs usually have 16" wheels, they can also have 2.4, auto, runningboards, remote starter, chrome package and most of the options on a 2LT. The 17" wheels come on a 2LT along with the Sport Suspension and traction control.
I have driven close to 20 LS, 1LT, 2LT rentals.

Running boards were optional on all models, only standard on "special" edition models.

17" is "usually" a dead sign of a 2LT. But I have seen them on 1LT's and even one LS model.

I don't understand WTF Chevy was thinking with 1LT and 2LT, first LT is a lame sounding badge and second having the 2 is confusing. IMHO 2LT could have been a Z number (ala Z28 Z24 etc)
