It looks like you backed into something to me but you would know if you that happened. Maybe somebody backed into you. Like a truck with some 2x4s hanging out the bed or something?

If they had a 2x4 hanging out the back there wouldn't be any other marks than the point of impact. The wood would contact your vehicle not the truck and it seems about the right height.

I had a dent kind of similar on my Sunfire on the drivers side rear fender but that came from a guy kicking my car.

I have no clue how it could of happend. Either my car is in my driveway or At work. But I doubt any of my co-workers would hit it.

Yeah, that's what you think. My boss dropped a ladder against the back of my pickup and dented the hell out of it. He never said a word to me about it. While I didn't witness it, the dent wasn't there when I put the ladder outside, but it was after he put the ladder in the van... and NO, it couldn't of fallen on its own. It came to be $900 in damage that I had to pay $250 out of pocket to repair.

I found an paintless dent guy for $120 to fix it. Another friend who owns a body shop said he would fix that, my bumper and some other straches for $550.

Look around your neighborhood, looks like a kid threw a baseball or something at it...

IMHO, somebody fell against the panel. It looks like it'll pop out again. It doesn't look deep enough for a hit and there are no other clues to go with it.
