How much do you pay monthly(72 mon. only*)
Well I guess I'm really gettin shafted. I put 5k down, paid something around $16,000 for the car but at the end of my loan total paid will be around 33K, ya my credit sucks and there is no way I can pay this thing off early. I did buy a really good extended warranty, well I hought it was good until my sunroof bracket broke. All I can say is that this car better run good for a long time and hold its value.
I hope someone totals this car and the insurance pays it off and I can pay cash for an SS with the extra money and have no car payment, but I would miss this one.

I got a heck of a deal on my 08 LS w/ AA5 option. First off they paid off my trade, put 0 down and pay $305 a month and im working at paying it off early. Drove off the lot with 35 miles after the test drive and am pretty happy with the whole exprience in buying my first brand new car.
My 2008 2LT listed for almost 24k.
Put 5600 down at 6.1% financing and pay 253.00 for 72 months.
Pissed me right off because the following month, some of our dealerships were having a Memorial Weekend sale and were throwing out additional savings of 1000 more on the allready had incentives for the HHR.

Bought mine Used 1 year old with 11k on it , paid cash. Let the original owner take the $6000 Plus beating.
72 month car loan on a heavily depreciating asset? No wonder so many people are in trouble financially with financial decisions like that, Yikes.
If you cannot pay it off in 3 years you should not buy it or buy used.
Now has 19K on it.

We traded in our 06 HHR LT1 paying $353/72, figured in the negative and now pay $410/72 @ 0% for our completely loaded LT2. We figured cost for extended warranty vs. a higher monthly payment were about the same and now we have the exact HHR we wanted from the start plus 100,000 miles of warranty. And the pricing actually worked better with alot of items being xtra's for 06's were standard on 08's.
