I got gas near Forestel Mo, for 1.48 a gallon yesterday on the 13th.
but on the way back to IL. there were stations $ 159 to $1.74 a gallon.
and In IL it was $1.99. . . . . . !
When does every ones price go up, for my area its wednesday and thursday.
So i am pretty sure i caught a station that hadnt raised the price up yet.

It is still running $1.85 +/_ $0.03/ gallon in Brevard county. With my Fuel Rewards program I paid $1.13/gallon not quite as good as the price I got last month of $0.439/gallon. https://www.fuelrewards.com/fuelrewards/

Until the Bi-Lo grocery chain pulled out of Central Carolina, our Bonus Card used to knock 40-60¢ off per gallon.
I could have saved another 15¢ a gallon yesterday if I'd have wanted to sit at the BJ's Buyers Club Store in Concord for half an hour while the twenty car long lines at the pumps straightened themselves out.
But...when you've got places to go, things to do, and a 3 year old behind you in his car seat, expediency overcomes cheapness.
